Same here. I grew up ranching and logging in the Flathead, west of Kalispell. Glacier Park view from the house.

Welcome, Wilma. More education happens here than can be found in any art school. Nice portraits, BTW. The graphite is a very sweet drawing. Always fun to meet other graphite artists.

Beautiful work, Wilma, and Welcome!

I am relatively new but felt compelled to welcome you and to pay you this well deserved compliment. You show a strong background in value and drawing and I am confident in your ability to tackle oils.

I am originally from Oklahoma and then moved to Texas (both Oklahoma's and Texas' average IQ were raised simultaneously) and then to North Carolina. I am familiar with Pow Wows. How can anyone forget an experience like that?

It is the size of the left-over space in one of the closets in one of the rooms of Linda Brandon's "studio house." I therefore propose that any such get-together be held at her Phoenix facility.

I will bring the fixin's for Texas chili.

My goodness Steven, this is like old home week. You do know the country then and it's so beautiful over there. Logging is the main industry here in the Pointblank area. I also spent ten years in Alaska, over three of that was out in the "bush".

Patricia, how great! I will go look at your work, have been concentrating on the oil threads for the past three weeks. I hope to see more of you.

John, and welcome to you too. Thank you very much. I have started my first layers portrait and I am struggling. One thing to read and observe, quite another thing to do it.

Dear Wilma,

Welcome, and I look forward to seeing more of your lovely drawings (and color work as well).

Yes, now that Linda is out of town for a few days, we should make the party arrangements now. I'll bring a caviar torte and a nice Chardonnay.
