A portrait of Nadia that I did from life.

When painting from life I am always careful to paint quickly. What critiques would you give me on this piece?

Hi Judson,

You are improving in getting more three-dimensional form into the face and features. One area that is still flat is the eyes. Try to picture the roundness of the eyeballs set into the eye sockets and shade the eyes, especially the whites of the eyes, to show that.
