I followed a link from the New York Portrait Society to find a fantastic display of William Bouguereau paintings that will take your breath away. They accompany text from Fred Ross's presentation to the Society recently which runs on about all the injustices caused by "modern art" but the work is overwhelming whatever your favorite school of art and expression.
