Leslie, I think.
I have three days of children in Linda Brandon's class next week and it dawned on me I have been doing so much from photos, and so many watercolors lately I needed a bit of a gauntlet to get things moving again. This is the wonderful redhead with those dark blue eyes.
I hope I got the feeling, if not the precision. Kids will be much tougher.

Deb:
I really enjoy the composition on this one! The pushed to the side pose and the stripe coming down into her shoulder, dark background and light subject - very effective!

You know that wall. The green studio paint and greener blackboard.
Looking now, I went a bit overboard on her shoulders, but I was pretty happy with the skin tones. I got the direct pose. Had to talk her into looking at the top of my easel. She kept chuckling at me making my art faces.
