Sidewalk Portraits, my favorite program for the weekend.
Here are a few photos from one of my Saturday afternoons, the model's boyfriend has just sent them to me.

You're so brave! How long has you been doing this? From time to time I have a fleeting inclination to pack up my drawing stuff and head to a public place, but so far I've only chickened out.
Did she like her portrait?

Claudemir, this is very brave, and the drawing from what we can see was going very well !
I think that you should have a real portrait on your easel as an advert, it would show off your work better even if people don't know the sitter.
Please post some of your drawings here if you manage to take a photo at the end

Claudimir, this is terrific! This just lifted my spirits this morning. This is such a wonderful thing to do. Please get yourself an easel since you are going to hurt your arm muscles holding your board like that for long periods of time.
Post your drawings here! What media are you using, and how are you delivering the drawings to your sitters?

Yes, it hurts a lot after 8 or 9 hours. After those photos I started using an easel as you can see in the photo.
I use charcoal and I use hair spray to fix them. Then I roll them up and tape them.

There's nothing like taking the art to the streets.

Ilaria,
I did so for some time, but I was more successful when I started using Marilyn as my propaganda.
I'll try to take some photos now. But after finishing one, I'm really excited to start the next one.

Julie,
Yes, she liked that very much.
I cannot recall when I exactly started doing it, I did these portraits randomly and for free. This year I started doing them every weekend and I charge a low fee.
If you are considering doing this, I can only say "GO FOR IT!
I always have a lot of fun, even when I'm exhausted. Practice a little before going to a public place, you need to be fast, sitters get bored easily after 15 minutes.
