Kayla
Hi, everyone
I wanted to see if I could complete a painting in a day and..... four days later I am done. This has nothing to do with a commission. I painted her for the sheer fun of those great cheeks and lips. I photographed her with my snazzy new Nikon D50 but am having trouble recording the violet tones that are prevelant in the piece.
Thank you for taking the time to look.
11x14, oil on Raymar panel.

Very nice Vianna! Can see how you'd want to paint those cheeks. I like the freshness of it and your use of color in the skin.

I really like this, Vianna. I keep staring at those cheeks, marveling at the way you have so many colors within a tightly controlled value range. You use such unusual color and/or lighting in all your paintings.

Thank you, Terri and Alexandra.
I did use the Rose Gray and also the Violet Gray which was a wonderful complement to all the orange. I think I will need some more tubes of both.
