Kim, the facial expression is incredible! That's what really jumped out at me when I first saw this. I am just loving the way you are using color like a mosaic to model the planes of the face. And you've really caught something in her posture that is hard to define. I like the way the title helps explain, but doesn't reduce the painting to a simplified emotion. In fact it raises more questions.

Kim, I agree with Alex about the expression - that ambiguity, maybe even fear. The whole painting becomes complicated and takes it out of the "generic studio nude" catagory. There are lots of very nice techincal aspects to this, too. It's wonderful... and WOW are you productive!

Kim,
I really like what you have going on here! Great composition with the wrought iron - I think of this kind of design as classic Rockwellian - beautful use of negative spaces too!

Kim,
Wow, what a beautiful light and color harmony.!!!
I like the simple contrast of two colors. The lemon and lavender are so sensitive and almost fragile colors, easy to hurt, they second your intention.
The skin colors and the modeling of the body are perfect.
