What, Are You Nuts?
Poet Robert Bly once said during a reading that "If you don't read Carl Jung every day, you're . . . nuts!"
I just spent some time doing a pearl dive in the "Techniques, Tips and Tools" area, going back 3 or 4 years for what I was looking for, and even though I was around the Forum during the posting of most of that material, I'm just stunned to have seen again how many dozens and dozens of subjects have been discussed, from the perspective of so many practitioners and professionals with so much to offer.
Other areas throughout the Forum have their own valuable archives, as well.
Unless you enjoy re-inventing the wheel, posing questions that have already been thoroughly explored many times over, or just ignoring good advice, you would do well to make a regular excursion through these materials, which are literally an art degree program in an e-book. (Plus, we have jokes and cartoons.)
And if you don't do it, and often, then yes, you're nuts. That's a fact, and not just my opinion (so don't waste time getting a second opinion!)

Actually, all kidding aside, the better reason in the short run for reacquainting yourselves with the best of the archives is a not-yet-announced plan to condition continued membership on an exam, the answers to which are all found in Forum posts more than one year old. It's an open-book exam, but it would behoove everyone to do the homework in preparation.
This is not an official notice, and you didn't hear it from me.

Hi Steve -
I like that "exam" idea! I know when I first found this forum, I printed pages and pages of information, which I keep in a folder for review. I have learned and continue to learn SO much from all the information so freely given.
It makes sense for newbies to be acquainted with what is here instead of asking questions that have already been answered so well in the archives.

I was going to start a new thread about using the search button for subjects already discussed....just to be annoying.
If I only had more time, I could make Steven throw things at me.
I've been guilty of not searching and bringing up things that have been covered as well. One you've been here awhile, you THINK you are acquainted with it all, but there is just SO much information.
