Cheap Art Books
This is a wonderful resource for bargain Art Books - Edward R. Hamiton (and the shipping is only $3.50 per order): http://www.edwardrhamilton.com/
Right now they have a book listed: "Van Dyck Drawings" with 370 illustrations (107 in color) for $54.95 (reg. price $95). It sounds like a pretty cheap bunch of "drawing lessons" to me....

I just came upon this post- I've been considering buying an art book if I could find an inexpensive one. On a hunch, I checked Ebay to see if the Van Dyck book was on there. As luck would have it- it was- at $14.99!! However, my timing was just a bit off, as the auction ended 30 seconds after I found the page. LOL You can definitely find good deals on Ebay. I'll have to keep my eyes open to see if it comes up for auction again because there were no bids on the book when it closed.

Book bid
Susan,
Since the book you wanted on e-bay didn't sell for the starting price, you might try e-mailing the seller and asking if he would sell it to you for that price. It's worked for me.
Good luck,
Joan
