20x30"
I'm moving in just 2-3 weeks - so my concentration level is low. But, I still have to paint. This is my first attempt at a nude with my own references.
Im curious - I started out with this first one and decided it was boring and changed it. I've had a couple comments in praise of the 2nd version and others in praise of the first.
Do most prefer a softer version? The original didn't have the skin finished, but you get the idea.
It's still in progress, by the way.

I like the first version a lot more. Much more delicate and natural.

I'm not sure if I understand which one was the first version. So I will say it like this........I really like the top one.
A lot!

Thanks for the comments, my esteemed collegues. Unfortunatly, the top one is where it was, now it's the bottome one. But - the good news is I can always paint the top version again. Lesson learned - softer and more natural for the nudes seems to be the preference. I actually liked it the way it was until someone made a comment that it was dull. Then all of a sudden I found it dull as well. It's good to learn lessons.

What does that exactly mean?
By the way, a very beautiful job.

Thanks Claudemir - it means that I did one nude a few weeks ago - it's in the Nude Unveilings section. The reference I used was someone else's photography and model that I was given permission to use one time. I wanted to warm-up with that one without the hassel of hiring a model - just to see if I enjoyed it or if there was any interest from my collectors.

Thanks for the answer, I liked that one a lot, but I like this one much more. Please, always use your own refences, they are much better to me.
