Synthetic canvas instead of linen or cotton canvas.

Hello! I'm a new member and i'd like to share to you about canvas.

They say that the best support is linen canvas but I read in some site, but couldn't remember it, that the best and most durable support is a synthetic canvas. So I bought some and experimented on it and found it great. First, because it has a fine texture. Second, it is white and smooth not unlike the cotton. Third, it can be primed more easily. And lastly, the result of the finish painting is more brilliant.

Lately, I can't find synthetic canvas in any fabric store. Instead, I used this fabric called "clopman" or sometimes it is called "clothman". This fabric is used for nurse dress and doctors. So I made this cloth as a substitute for synthetic canvas cuz I find it equality the same with the normal synthetic canvas.

Is there someone there who know something about fabrics has an idea about this. please tell me so because I don't know maybe my experiment is bad.

Thanks,
xndr
