The strong color and the 'attitude' are work so well together, Sharon! I'm also liking such things as the subtle shift of background value against the legs.

I get so inspired seeing these big ladies of yours. Please keep creating them.

OMG! What a beautiful painting. The warm flesh tones / shadows provide an eye catching complement to the overall coolness of this piece. Also love the mere suggestion of a cast shadow at her feet, making it compositionally perfect. Would love to see a close up of her hand.
