This is an oil portrait that I have recently finished. I painted Keeton's brother several years ago wearing the same sailor suit and sitting on the bench. The painting measures 30" x 24" and is much softer than it appears in the photo. I am a Forum novice so I hope this gets sent correctly. (I needed my 13 year old to show me how to post a message.)

Vianna, this is marvelous! I love all the wonderful colors you've used to convey the "white" sailor suit. It glows. I'd love to see a close-up of this piece. Is it possible that your teen will help you post another pic of this painting?

Thank you Valerie for your kind words. I am sending a detail of the portrait. I have spent all afternoon figuring out how this Forum works. I was excited to get a reply so quickly. I may just become a Forum fanatic.
