Hi Richard,
Welcome to your first portrait posting. It's about time!
Richard, this is a beautiful and arresting image, very complete and satisfying to see. Your friends must be thrilled with the results.
I love the setting, and passionate chromatic composition. Kudos!
Now let's see some more of your works....

Richard,
Yes, your pictures are much too good to hide away.

Garth,
Being a great admirer of your incredible work, makes your comments that much more appreciated. I'm not surprised that you picked up on my love for chroma. If I could, I would use saturated colors right out of the tube. Sometimes it works as in this case. However, all too frequently it becomes a fault that I have to guard against. Thanks again for making my day begin with a happy surprise.
Allan,
I will try to be a better poster in the future. Thanks for the compliment.

Congratulations Richard! You've captured the early morning feel and her innocent pre-occupation so well. (Now, what did she get on her shirt?)
P.S. Oh wait. Just went back and saw the title. . . it's that her shirt is too wet and she doesn't want it up against her!

Terri,
She just got out of the water and was dripping wet. She was pulling the shirt away from her because she didn't like the feel. If you look at the area around her feet I tried to indicate the rest of the story with some puddles of water.

Linda, Thanks. This is a great forum and I learn continually from the other members. Being considered a contributor of value is high praise...especially since it comes from someone of your caliber of expertise. Thanks again.
Tom, Thanks more are to come.
Marina, Here are the feet and puddles. I did originally paint distinct droplets on her legs, but they made her look like she had leprosy.
They are still there, but I drybrushed over them until they were almost invisible. Now they only look like a bad skin condition if one looks closely.

Richard,
yes sometimes, details can be dangerous to make. Her feet just look like lovely wet little feet.Thank you for the close up.

Richard,
I'm so glad to see you finally posting these! Of course they are being deservedly well received here by all your friends. What's next on your easel now that you've finished?
