Governor Tim Kaine

We had a very nice unveiling for my portrait of Virginia Governor Tim Kaine on Tuesday and a nice article in the Washington Post http://voices.washingtonpost.com/rel...icial_por.html.

Very, very fine portrait, Steve! Nice article, too. It sounds like you really shook up the status quo at the VA state Capitol. Congratulations!

Congratulations, Steve! What a powerful positive groundbreaking composition, that certainly must upset the status quo, as Alex points out. I hope the Capitol can accommodate portrait tours. I for one, would love to see this some time.

All the best,

Garth

Thanks Alex. The portrait is really different than its predecessors and its going to be fun see them all hung together. I love all the interesting compositions you've come up with.
Thanks Garth. Tim Kaine is a very warm, outgoing, intelligent man who is well liked in the state. It was quite a challenge to try and capture that. I love your portrait of Mayor Rendell by the way.
Thanks Patricia also. The unveiling was a lot of fun.
And thanks Eva. I saw your newcomer post. It looks like you're off to a great start.

best,
Steve
