Testing the Style Waters
I've been trying to break out of my tight copyist work and am trying to add interesting brushwork as well as a little artistic expression. I'm not yet pleased with my results, but understand that I need more time to practice. Following are three paintings I did today--the two color portraits took 2 hours each and the monochrome took about 3.5 hours.
Critiques are more than welcome.
