Young Woman and Chestnut Horse

This is my latest watercolor portrait commission. It is 14" x 12", watercolour on paper.

I have a new website for my portrait commissions, and you can get some more details here: FineAnimalPortraits

My blog has a large image of this painting: http://horseandpetportraits.blogspot.com/

Wow indeed. So different from your handling in oil.

Thomasin, you do these commissioned pieces so well! I like how you handled the background in comparison to the figure-- "watery" and less defined, really using the watercolor and making the woman and horse stand out.
