Thank you for accepting me into the forum. The amount of technical information here is priceless. The number of fine painters on this site is absolutely amazing !

I've used egg tempera for a long time and switched over to oils about ten years ago. My paintings are more from the imagination than reality. I studied the early renaissance Italian painters and that has been my greatest influence over the years.

Welcome, Ron. Hope to see more of your work. Do you think you could post some of your egg tempera works? You do very good work.

Welcome Ron,

I love your young sailor painting, it looks so vintage in style. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Ron,

Welcome to the Forum! I'm looking forward to hearing more about how you proceed from the idea to using models to creating the finished portrait with all its details. Also, I would like to know exactly what role imagination plays in your paintings.
