My latest pencil portrait
I would like to share with everyone my latest pencil portrait. I accidently posted this under critiques. I hope it is okay to post it here as well. I strive for a very classical look. My subject is 15-year-old Chelsea. She herself, has a very classical look about her.
I hope you enjoy it. If I need to post a close-up of her face let me know.
Thanks.

Hi Dan.
Welcome to the Forum! And thanks for posting such a lovely drawing. This is a beautiful, graceful pose. I love the linear composition and the way you've concentrated your darks around her face. It's very effective.
Best regards,
Linda

Hi Dan,
This is truly a very soft work. I visited your site and especially liked your landscapes. They have so much atmosphere. I will be looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Did you draw this from a photograph or from life?
