Cafe Guerbois
The time of Hemingway and Monet is passe! The Parisians have very well preserved the formal authenticity of the cafe and made it such an attraction for the tourists, that I'd rather address myself outside St.Germain to the small "Authentic" cafes of rue St. Jean Baptiste or L'imprevue, behind the Beaubourg. There my glasss robinet is the pleasure of the House!
Do not get me wrong I still find it 'cute' or would I dare say impressionate that you care to use this name!

Oh dear, so many of us (i.e., me) are not as experienced and as well travelled as you are. I confess that I don't even know what a glass robinet is...
Perhaps we should rethink our decision to meet at an old tourist trap like this. Maybe we could meet at a Golden Arches nearby to chat over a steaming styrofoam cup of McCoffee...thanks for the up-to-date suggestion
Is Tjader-Knight your first or last name?

I hope my last post was not taken the wrong way.It was merely my opinion.I lived in Paris for nearly 2 years it was intersting to say the least. For the robinet it is basicaly tap water , where as most cafes in Europe by law are meant to give this for free the cafe in question charges roughly 30 French Francs +/- $2.50 .Thank you for your reply .
