Ladies, thank you very much for the kind words!

Alexandra, I don't have a method that I can say I follow, but normally I study the background and the subject to determine the orientation of the patterns and the shapes of the forms I use to build the image. In my world both background and subject fuse into one organic form. I hope that didn't sound too "artsy."
