Next one
Hi
She is Eve. 16. from Sri Lanka (father).
I think both photos are good for painting. She would prefer the first one. (maybe because of the small different at her eyes).
I think the 2nd one is better.
What do you think?
Any suggestions for composition, background are welcome. It would be my first dark skin attempt.
Thanks.

Leslie,
I don't have much time to consider your photos at the moment, but as to the second I think you might consider rotating it. This is a 5 degree rotation ...

Leslie, she is terrific, what coloring! What a shame to put this beautiful girl in a boring white t-shirt that cuts off her neckline. Can you re-shoot?
But the shadow pattern on her face is excellent.

@Mike
Thanks, maybe she took another position, tripod was still the same position
@Linda
Yes I can re-shoot, today or tomorrow. Next week is holiday. She wears only such shirts etc. --> she is a big sport champion.
Shadows are good?

Leslie,
What a beautiful young woman! You should have fun with her coloring. I think she may like the first pose better because it makes her face look thinner and is more flattering. I would reshoot, too, with a neckline which shows more anatomy and perhaps hang a backdrop cloth with a flattering color, try some different neutral, mid-tone colors and see which looks best against her skin.
Have fun, you have a beautiful model to work with!!

Hello Patricia
Thanks for your suggests. After searching and testing I would say a bluish, downgreyed, some cool transition is my choice for background.
yes she is a pretty model. Even as she was 3, was a pretty baby. (she'd played piano, but her hand was so tiny... she'd played chords with fist, unforgettable scene for me)
Today, I've tried to get a better fidelity with my cam, her newest choice instead of white shirt wasn't better: too dark.... but I was able to catch far more better skintones.
btw: her comment for your suggests: What? they want me ladylike? Im not!
(true, true but she is a very talented soccer and pianist, one of the best in our state.)
cheers!

Hello
Here is the best shoot. She will it so. I can explain what I want...
But I like the faint rose tone too, thought a bit stronger.I did a quick color sketch too, I think greyed blue is okay for the background. Or?
Thanks for viewing.
bye

I like this new shot the best. The background color you have there is fine too.
