StoryTime
THis is a self portrait with my nephew. My sister took the photo back in 2002. I finally got around to painting it.

Nice and comfy
Nice, green has always been my fav color, and having some of it on the painting gives a nice comfy feeling, without having to use the conventional warm colors to portray it. It's a real successful piece, i tell yer!

Thank you
Thank you,
I really wish that you could see how wonderful the finished piece truly is. Unfortunately, because of the transparent pigments, photographing watercolors is particularly difficult. Thank you again, I do appreciate the compliment.

The item in the background (bear)? looks like Sargent or Zorn-it appears masterful on the jpeg. Tim

Dear Robert,
I think you have developed a very successful composition, with a subtle, restrained color harmony. Thanks for posting,
