This is an oil study I did of this gentleman whose face appealed to me a great deal so I asked him to sit for me. The session took about 2 and a half hours with pleasant chit-chat. He was in the area on a visit, so I had to be content with just that one session. Oil on canvas, 61 x 50 cm. The model was about 2 meters away from me.
