Reference photo critique
I love this photo - it was just an extra one from a recent photo-shoot for a western figurative.

I think that this would look good cropped as there is a lot in this photo that isn't very "paintable." This "head and shoulders" has interesting patterns of light and shadow that can be seen more easily in greyscale.
I seem to be spending a lot of time today playing with other people's photos - probably because I am stuck on one of my own. I plan to mull my problem over for a day or so before I begin my next portrait.
