Pregnant Sherise

This was an interesting challenge. The model, Sherise, posed for three sessions lasting three hours each. The sessions were spread out over a 6 week period so it became a game to draw the belly where we thought it might be the next time. Unfortunately she became too uncomfortable to continue and since I was leaving her hand for last I was unable to finish. I would like to use this for shows.

Any ideas on finishing the hand without the model? I'd appreciate any advice.

You could ask someone else to sit in that exact same lighting and pose and photograph their hand to use as reference. Or you could set yourself up in that way and use a self timer.

Good idea Michele. A easy simple answer. I feel like a bit of a simpleton for not thinking of it myself. I will paint with the group on Wed. I can probably get the current model to pose for me, thanks.
