Doorway

I have a photo snapped here that was taken at Garner State Park today. I loved this doorway. The photo is small because it is very unattractive.

Here is my question - it kind of looks like a castle doorway...so when it comes to a costume if I'd like to put a woman in the doorway...what time period do you think would fit? I have ideas, but when I talk to the people at the costume shop - I am not always saying the time period correctly, so I confuse them. For instance, I do not know what the difference is between a woman's medieval dress and a renaissance dress.

It doesn't really have to be historically accurate - after all this is actually the service entrance to the concession stand, but I don't want someone to look and the first thing they think is that it is the wrong costume.

This looks to be circa 1967 Southside San Antonio. I've actually been to Garner State Park back in the last century.

Looking at the scale of the opening as it relates to the woman it looks like you would have to back off a good bit to get all that in. We have to be careful not to get too figurativish around here.

It cries 1967? Bummer, I was thinking castle-ish.

I was actually thinking of getting it close and just showing the face, arms and part of the door, but in some sort of costume.
