At Thanksgiving...
This from a New York Times Magazine article on wealth made me realize how lucky I really am:
Quote:
If you are a member of an average American college-grad household, you are richer than 99.9 percent of the human beings who have ever lived. You are stinking rich.

Causes me to remember that if I have any time at all to work at art rather than mere subsistence, I am a fortunate person indeed.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone, and love to all--TE

Thanks for posting that Tom. It reminds me once again to stop and think about my numberless blessings.
While we're on the subject of thanks-giving, I wanted to thank once again (I can never do it enough) everyone who has made this Forum (and hence my career as a professional artist) possible.
To Cynthia, and to all the artists who have ever contributed posts to make this virtual "place" so valuable and special -- thank you.

Great quote Tom, I have read that somewhere before and it puts so much into perspective.
Let me echo Michele's sentiments. This site is proving invaluable to my art education. I would be at such a loss without it. Thank you, Cynthia, and every artist who interacts here, from the students like myself to the professional master artists.
Happy Turkey Day and God Bless !!

Thanks Tom for posting that message. I know that I have much to be thankful for, probably more than I am aware of.
This is truly a great web site loaded with useful information. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

I beleive that everyone has been blessed with a unique talent. Unfortunately far too many have never had the opportunity to discover theirs.
We should all feel very thankful that we've had the opportunity to find ours and have a wonderful place such as this to share with each other..

Do not travel to Turkey to find turkey,
Just write a letter to Florida, Tampa Bay,
Hey, there is
TURKEY
(Thank you, Cynthia)
