Alison & Charlie

Hi all - how fun to post in the "full time pro" section for the first time!

Here's Alison & Charlie (11 & 7), 40" x 36". The kids are "straightforward, wonderfully average and honest" and so that's why the composition is as well. The reference images are a compilation of individual shots, and then I decided to add the ball later for context and composition.

We "removed" Alison's braces and Charlie's glasses. The kids and Mom (the client) were very happy.

Linda,

What a nice, sunny portrait! I like this composition and the way you seamlessly added the ball. Good job also on the way you made Charlie's eyes sparkle.

BW,

Hi Richard -

Yeah - it's funny that a lot of my clients want an outdoors sunny composition - I can see how they'd be a nice escape to look at while in the house during the brown/gray fall, the looooooooong winter and the sloppy spring.

Take care,
Linda
