The top three most prestigious Portrait Societies are...
I had my first gallery interview today and I was told by the owner to participate in juried shows of the top Portrait Societies. I am a member of the Portrait Society of America and even though one buys their membership, I was told that if I ever win it adds to the validity of me as an artist. I know one could argue in length about that one as well, but I really like to know who to send my check to and start submitting work.
