Welcome Tom,

Inspiring work! I love your use of color in the portraits as well as your rendering of light, shade and fabric. I am sure you will have much to offer the other members of the Forum.

Hi Tom,

Powerful work; full of life. If you have a moment, who are some of your favorite painters?

Two contemporary painters who immediately come to mind are Robbie Wraith, one of Annigoni's pupils, and Yuqi Wang.

Robbie Wraith has such a depth of dedication and knowledge. You can see some at http://www.albemarlegallery.com/arc_059.htm

Yuqi Wang is at: http://www.artrenewal.org/museum/w/Wang_Yuqi/page1.html

Interesting site, Tom

I've visited and enjoyed your site. Your work is quite varied in color and mood. Yuqi Wang is one of my favorites also! I look forward to seeing your portraits here.
