Deb's girl
I have variations on two poses. I kinda like them both for different reasons. I have already done a portrait of this girl's mother.
This is #1

Hi Mike,
I like Pose 1 because of the dramatic effect of the lighting. The photo where the girl sits by the window shows her sort of slouched and the lighting makes her face appear larger than it is. The 1st picture is more regal looking.

My preference
is #1 - but I would drop the value of the arm of the couch. Beautiful!

Deb's girl
Hi, Mike,
What is the personality of this young woman? If a mature, gracious, teen, then definitely #1. If she's really "full of the devil," then I like #4. Where do you find all these beautiful women? Have you ever painted a man?

Hmmm, a mature, gracious teen. That sounds like a sci-fi movie. I am acquainted with her mother but I don't really know the young lady well enough to make that call. Maybe if I paint her as mature and gracious she will act thus (thusly?).

I've painted boyz II men, but I prefer the presence of a beautiful mind, set just behind two piercing green, blue or hazel eyes. Framed on either side by blonde, brown or red hair flowing beyond the shoulder or not. I do prefer women.

Hahaha, thanks, I needed that laugh! Sounds like you don't discriminate between beautiful women and gorgeous women.
And, for the record, Boyz ll men are not really considered real men!
