Two Charcoals from a Show - Aurora

This is Aurora. I did a portrait of her mother about two years ago, and she asked me to do several charcoals of Aurora.

I did these at a show this weekend.

Here is the first one - Charcoal on board:

Here is the second. It is done a little differently. I toned the board with gray pastel and then worked from the middle. It creates a different effect.

Not sure which I like more.
