Mini Canadian Goose

After seeing a couple of my miniature animal paintings a very nice lady wanted me to paint a mini of one of the geese she has in her pond. It is my first "mini" commission. It is 3" x 2" and is acrylic. Her brother liked it so much that he has commissioned an elk for his trophy room.

This is beautiful Rebecca. You really have a knack for doing water. I can almost hear the ripples.

Miniature Paintings-Magazine Article

Rebecca, I am so happy for you that you have found your niche and that people are so receptive to your wonderful work. I was at Borders yesterday and picked up doll magazines (I love dolls) and came across a magazine titled "Miniature Collector", which had an article about miniature paintings. Artists have recreated Renoir's studio, as well as other rooms filled with tiny little paintings of the old masters. It was such a treat to see the love that goes into these miniatures. I thought you might want to check the magazine out, if you don't already subscribe to it. Keep posting-I love seeing your work!
