The Bathers

Hello,

This is not quite finished, the arms and hands aren't done, along with a few other tweaks, but I feel like I need a little help. I'm sure you noticed, I like color. The dark lines here and there are drawing corrections that will not be there in the final painting. I'm happy with the likenesses, but there are things nagging me, that I'm not sure how to fix, or if they should even be nagging me in the first place. And, I'm sure there are things that should be nagging me that I'm missing. I'd love a fresh eye and a fresh perspective.

Thanks!

It's probably better than you realize. (An artist friend of mine once said he had a tendency to tinker with his work until he ruined it.) This has a lovely feel to it. If I were to make any suggestion, it would be that on my screen, at least, the baby' hand seems to disappear. Also, the waves in the bg would be better closer to horizontal and parallel.

Thanks, John. The hands and arms aren't quite done. I do have the same tendency your friend has, tinker, tinker, sinker. I see what you mean about the waves. Not sure I'll make them horizontal, but I can see where they need to be parallel. Thanks, again!

Maybe it's my monitor, but the shadows seem dark and blackish. By the way, The size for image upload has been increased.

I don't think it's your monitor, Cynthia. They are dark. That's on the list. What's the new file size? Thanks!

New allowable size is 570 pixels max width and 800 max height. It's shown when you upload images...there's a table in the lower part of the popup.

Ok, thanks. I just read the old instructions when I posted it. I'll post the update in the bigger size.
