American Art Review

It's always a good day when my issue arrives. All the guys at the pool hall were gabbing about the Cowboys beating Philadelphia yesterday. Sure, I says, but have you seen the cover of the new American Art Review? Once again I'm chased into the parking lot.

This is an especially good issue. The cover alone is worth the price. "Elainor" by Lucy Taggart. You could make a six week course from this painting.

With all its blessings, expat life robs me of the opportunity often captured in the past of waltzing into Borders or B&N and walking out with a copy of this mag, often already thumb-worn before I make it to the door.

Same sentiments expressed here previously, that time would be exceptionally well spent perusing the SOG galleries, for the same reasons.

I'm reminded of Boston and Benson - it is lovely.
