Basdeball card drawing by Mike Theuer
This poster-sized drawing was commissioned by the Negro League Hall of Fame. It is of Oscar Charleston for whom there are few photos and no baseball card. I created this fake card idea from separate photos and an old card. The handwriting was based on a sample from my 92-year-old neighbor. I drew it on Canson bright white paper with a BLACKWING pencil which is 4B.

That's a great idea!
You could start a whole business around this idea. Create baseball cards of all those that were overlooked or passed over. Of course I've never actually come up with a successful business idea so beware.
I've enjoyed all your offerings.
Thanks
