Jack Black/White Oil




Here is my final BW oil of Jack If the customers like this then they will commission me to do their younger son. Thanks for looking.

Thanks, Julie. I wish you could see it in person, it looks so much better. I am very happy with the results and my next painting is a full color of an 8 year old girl. Can't wait to get the colors out now!

Hi Laurel,
Thank you for your comment. Yes my client requested a black and white. I did a couple B&W and they are in my portfolio. They are fun to do, and a way to upgrade someone who has won a drawing in an charity auction who does not want to go all the way to full oil color. It is becoming very popular with my clients and they are fun to do.

Wow, this is is so full of life! You used the full value range with understanding of all the effects you can get from the paint. I am sure you will get the second commission. Keep us posted, though.
