I visited your website. Are this portrait and the other sample under the category "new work" done with oil pastel? They seem to have a lot of texture, but it could be the quality of the photo too...

Hi Sara; no, good old Unison soft pastels only!
I've tried oil pastels once or twice but didn't find them subtle enough for the way I work. Thanks for your interest.
