CS in Graphite
The sister of the last post, brother with freckles. She was difficult to photograph and then I was not happy with the image the client chose (should never have shown them this one). I'm pretty satisfied with the end result, though. I apologize for the photo quality. How do you photograph graphite without getting that grainy look in the darkest darks?? Oh well....thanks for looking

Sorry Natalie,
I took it off and worked on it some more. Here it is again. The photo looks much more contrasty than it does in real life. I don't know the secret to photographing graphite drawings!

I think you did a great job with this portrait! Especially given the overhead lighting that you weren't pleased with. I really think she's lovely.
