A good day in open studio.

I have been stalled the last few times I have attended and been in very flat lighting poses. The model was a nice juicy unusual look, with teeth and everything.

I am pretty happy with the results. The photo is of a wet piece so it looks gloppy from trying to adjust the pinspots of glare out and put detail back in with the computer.

Approximately 18x14 image painted on a taped piece of canvas.

Ooops. Forgot to explain. The upper quarter of her hair was BRIGHT orange red. Looking at it now, a little adjusting might not hurt. Glad you could tell it was NOT a lily! Thank you.

I like the economy of this, and the angularity of her features. Nice interesting model, and a good execution.
