I have been drawing portraits for as long as I can remember. I mostly work with soft pastels since 1990, when I first tried them in graphic arts school in Paris.
I hope to find the energy to try out new things in the lines of this forum.

You get wonderful results from your pastel! I love the textures and colors. The sparkling lucidity of the eyes is startling!

@Ilaria Rosselli Del Turco : Thank you so much for posting hi-res pictures of your paintings.
I relate to the way you paint with light rather than outlines. A magical way to paint, things and people seem to appear effortlessly under the brushstrokes.
