Mannequins

I couldn't find the post where we were discussing mannequins - but at Target.com they have under home decorations a 5'2" metal mannequin. It isn't moveable - and certainly not great, but I wanted to mention another option for $60.

Stop Kim!

Try Ebay.

They have them for as little as $25! They also have a 66" poseable cloth one for $89.85. The also have one with poseable arms and great baby and childrens' ones.

I have a Bendie. She can be see dressed on my "Alicia Rose" unveiling site. However useful she is, she still costs $500, but I love her and she has earned her keep in saved model fees.

Thanks Sharon -

I think Ebay is all about timing. I looked on there for them many many times - but just never found a deal like that. But - since you've reminded me - I will again since Im in no hurry.

Mannequin order--trying my luck with Zing

Hi All,

I've been in need of a fully posable life-size mannequin and through my search found Zing as well.

I've been reluctant to order sight unseen (it's priced at $495 plus shipping) so I'm greatly reassured to read that others have bought bendables from them and are happy. Thanks!

The man I spoke with was Gerry 800-833-0429 ext. 711 and they also have a NY warehouse that can reduce the cost of shipping for those on the East coast. They may even offer it sales tax-free.

Hi Manu,

There is a picture of how I used my Bendie in a costume in the Professional Unvelings site. The title is "Alicia Rose". You can see how I dressed her up and posed her for that painting. Also Google Bendie. See who has the cheapest price. It is is made by a Canadian company called Bendieform, I think.

Get the plain skin tone and get the stand. You do not need a painted face or flocking.
