For anyone without Photoshop or other image-editing software who might be a little frustrated at seeing digital manipulations throughout the Forum posts and being unable to make adjustments in color or size to their own images (including the re-sizing necessary to post images here in the first place), consider using this web-based software:

Because it's web-based, you don't need to have the software on your computer. You simply upload your image to the site, make the adjustments using the tool bar you find there, and then download your results.
But because it's image intensive, you'll have an opportunity to practice patience if, as is my status at home, you're on a dial-up connection. And their server is likely to be pretty busy this weekend, so if you have trouble with access, try it again in a couple of days.
