I have been lurking over the course of several visits and thought I'd just jump in here and get acquainted.
Since art school "several" years (actually decades) ago, I have worked in many areas of publishing, photography and graphic arts. I have returned to the studio and drawing this last year or so and am eager (and terrified) to start painting again. I look forward to getting to know some of the talented folks around here and offer this graphite piece from a month or so ago as my first posting.
regards
Richard

Welcome Aboard, Richard!
Ah, another "sleeper" wakes up in his studio! This is a delightful drawing, perhaps from life? She's got a captivating glance, very appealing.
We can always use another artist in graphite/charcoal!! I look forward to seeing more of your work.
