Bill,
Beautiful images. Are your lights on continuously, or are they synced to your camera and only flash with the shutter?

The flash units are equipped with modeling lights which stay on continuously, but are of course overwhelmed when the flashes go off when I push the shutter. Photos this way are very fast with great depth of field.

Hi back to Natalie. I'm doing a two week workshop in Atlanta in August. Ask Natalie if she's interested in modeling for that one.
Great images Bill. I find that with my Nikon D70 I also get incredibly accurate colors and values. Nothing beats life, but we're fortunate to have such great technology at our disposal when life isn't available.

Marvin,
For our needs, digital is a great improvement over film. And best of all, we have total control. I

A "good histogram" would depend on your goal. The histogram for a low contrast, high key portrait of a little girl dressed all in white would be quite different from what you'd get for the portrait of a man in a black suit with chiaroscuro lighting.

Histogram? Do you think I know about Histogram? Even the word was invented after I was born.
I can barely use a computer!
I still can't understand why I have to push the "start" botton to turn the thing off.....
