Bailey photo

These are photos of my neighbor's daughter. She is a twin and I have posted two photos of her twin under 'Gracie' also.

Here are two photos of Bailey. I can look at her for skin color since this cute little girl lives across the street. I'm not sure if the first one, with her squatting down, would look funny in a painting?

I welcome any tips on composition and how to handle the background. I want the background to be fairly nondescript, hedges and flowers, which my neighbors have in their front yard.

Thank you for any comments (even 're-shoot'!)

Joan

I like the bottom one as long as you do not have the feet cut off like they are. I would find the skin colors hard on the first one, but that one cropped just below the shoulder would be nice.

Thank you Kim

Hi Kim,

Thank you for your reply. I think the second photo could be interesting with the graphic steps and then the door framed out in the background, without that getting too dominant. After taking a second look at this photo though, I wonder if it looks funny that her arms and hands are sort of in mid-motion. This little girl won't sit still for a second and when I say her name to get her to look at me, she sees the camera and comes striaght towards me.

Joan
