Strike the Balance:

Hi all,

After almost 2 years and over 30 projects ( drawing, pastel, oil, together), can you tell me something about my flaws, errors etc.? Tthen I'll be better (not happy with my level). I'm optimistic, larky , nothing against "bad" words in critique!

Here are a few projects of mine to see my "way". Mostly painting are small. I like curious things like miniatures, too.

I tried various methods, what I thought : perhaps important. e.g. to know, I can change colors by glazing etc.

Barbara, dimensions: 15.7" x 11.8"

This one posted soon, here is a zoomed picture. She was happy with it. Painted alla prima but not in one session.

A. Banderas

My first male painting! For a friend, she loves him, not my problem.
I tried to paint in dabbing style of Bill Whitaker (BTW: Many greetings from Claus!!) with premixed color from palette. I tried to catch his "since 3 days no shaving baby" look.
She is very happy.

Many THANKS for your effort and looking the "tinkers" of a whelp!

Hi Leslie:

It might be a good idea in the future to post one work at a time (with the reference photo as well). Posting several works at once has a tendency to overwhelm. I have a few remarks regarding your first portrait of
