Portrait of Kelly

This was a fun commission with a fun little girl and her ducks. I had three people "herding" the ducks during the photo shoot.

Steve,

Beautiful portrait, great movement, wonderful composition. I know I speak for others: could you post some details? Size?

Thanks,

Thanks

Chris,

Thank you for the kind comments. This painting is approximately 32" x 48". I had great fun with the background, keeping the flowers reduced to basically shapes, adding detail selectively. I didn't pose the subject but managed to catch her at that beautiful, lyrical moment.

Steve:

Wonderful portrait. I really love how you simplified the background shapes so they unify and don't compete with your subject.
