George Frederic Watts

Watts, English painter living from 1817 - 1904 used a very limited palette for skin tones.
His wife, at the picture, mentioned that he only used 4 colors for the flesh colors.
The portrait was painted on their honeymoon and the wife tells that Watts only used White, Light Red, Raw Umber and Burnt Umber.
